This is a video I made for kids to learn the names of several shapes. You might find some of my choices of shapes a bit odd but I decided to use the same shapes that come with a plastic shapes box that you can get here in Japan at most hundred yen stores. The box is great for use in the classroom.

keep reading to your lil girl. even if you think she’s not listening, she’s picking up something. use every opportunity to talk to her, describe what you see, when you go shopping, driving in the car, etc. But also, don’t put pressure on yourself. She’ll eventually speak, if it happens now or in 5 months it really doesn’t matter and it’s no measure of how good a mum you are. good luck. x
Also the circle is an oval…
I’m so happy to hear that!

my brother loves it
thanks, im a new mom so i need all the help i can get
It’s catchy, my daugter likes it. I just wished the square was actually a square and not a rectangle… that can be confusing for babies.
All little ones are like that. Some take a little longer to say words that actually make sense. But just say each word as you show her things. Especially food. Like if you give her a banana, say Ba-Na-Na. she migh start with BA and then move to BaNa to mean banana, and before you know it she’ll be saying that word. Do the same with everything. Chair, point to a chair. Head, point to your head. She’ll catch on.
My favorite shape is heart….
what would you reccomend to get mysoon to be one year old talking.. she is stuck on “ma.. da, pa, na na.. kitty( she says keeeedy or see.. cats name is cg)
