JEWEL – LULLABY (New Album)
The 15-track album features 11 self-penned songs and a few standards including Twinkle Twinkle Little Star and Somewhere Over the Rainbow. The acoustic record is reminiscent of Jewel’s twelve-time platinum album, Pieces of You.
“It’s the perfect album to relax to at the end of a long day,” said Jewel. “It’s really a mood album. It’s great for children, but it was written with adults in mind. I’m really excited about it.”
Lullaby was produced by Jewel and recorded at her home studio in Stephenville, Texas. It will be released on May 5th and available at major retailers in the toy and baby departments, as well as online at jeweljk.com and iTunes.

I usually listen to Rock and metal, but this is weird, I mean I feel like this song touches me deep down inside my soul…. I feel weird..
I love this album , I work at a daycare center and it puts my toddlers and two year olds to sleep RIGHT AWAY. Even the PreK’s fall asleep or just daydream into it. Love this. Im thinking about buying it for myself <3
i was looking for a nice lullaby cd for my baby who is due in 5 more months…now jewel is THE BEST out of all the ones i heard. i really have to thank her for her beautiful music. most childrens music isnt my favorite but jewels music relaxes me so much…
I have this cd at my job and I can’t stand it!!! I work with toddlers at a learning center and hearing this every single nap time it gets really annoying. The part that made me laugh though was the cd had got scratched and it started skipping and that actually made me laugh and I was not so annoyed by it lol.
i love this cd when i had my son i played it for him and he loved it i no longer have him i had to do an open adoption so this cd means so much to me i cry sometimes when i listen to it
Have to say you need to be a new mother to enjoy this album very sleepy…not her best
I am 39 and a former head banger
However this album is by far one of my favorites. I have 7 children and we all sit around and listen before bed time some nights and I get to rock my littles on my lap. My oldest daughter sings Sov Gott to her little sisters at night. Her voice mimics jewels that sometimes I think she has the CD playing in there room. However my not even 2 year old little boy loves to sing this music and asked at night for “jrewll”

i absolutely love jewel. my mom passed away when i was thirteen and when i was eleven my mom took me to see jewel in concert at the britt festival. i will always remember this as one of my best memories. rip mom

Though I like Jewel, I must admit that I cannot stand this CD. I work at a daycare teaching 2-year-olds. Every single day for two freaking hours I have to hear every song on this album. I would change the CD, but my boss will not allow it. If you do have kids, I would recommend this because it does help the children feel safe and lulls them to sleep.

I’m Jealous of Jewel because she has been to every single one of her concerts.

@bradster324 my heart felt condolences to u sweet lady may ur husband rip..n may God give u restful dreams n rest..I can honestly say I know what u are going thru cuz u see I lost my husband 2 1/2 yrs ago may he rip ..miss him so…and the other day at walmart where they have jewel’s music ..I found my lil dtr crying while listening to this track…she said she missed her daddy n she heard the song “somewhere over the rainbow”..knew he was in heaven..Jewel’s voice is so soothing n angelic..

Jewel Kilcher has a wonderful and soothing voice, love to hear her sing. Yet she was in her late 30′s when this song was released, You have the perception she is much younger in her picture here and others. For me it takes away from their music, if and when you see them on talk show etc. Example, saw Linda Ronstadt the other day on TV, She was very, very heavy set.
This album is so nice to listen to when I’m laying down just concentrating on my little man’s movements. I can’t wait to meet him… and when he gets here, I’m going to play it for him. Jewel’s voice is so pure, so heavenly…
