Wonderful idea. So, you don’t have to worry about the grass underneath? I see you didn’t dig it up or rotate it. Also, what do you suggest to keep the squirrels and birds away?

That is very cool. I am going to use a similar plan to build a giant sandbox this summer.
I have a whole long strip in front of my house that is bare and gets full sun every morning so I might put some garden boxes there or maybe just one long one.
The littlest girl in the pink shirt at the end is totally the most adorable. =) ‘Yay farmers!” *laughs*
