Ahh this bring back so many memories i could cry now. When I was in pre-k we put on a little play for our parents in the classroom singing this song, I had bumblebee wings too, they were really pretty, and i LOVED them. We used cottonballs as our bumblebees, and when I said”Ouch it stung me.” I remember dropping my cotton ball, and I was sad. Ahh thankyou for this, i’m crying right now. Man i wish I could go back in time, i was so happy and undepressed then.

We always followed the first verse with “I’m SMASHING UP my baby bumble-bee…..” while smashing the hands together…..is that too violent??? I was taught that one back in the 1950s…..
